The core mission of the of Painter is to prep and paint cabinets and doors in a professional manner using a spray gun.
The Painter will be responsible cleaning and prepping the cabinets and doors in accordant our standards.
The paint must be mixed, prepared and applied in accordance with procedures and manufacturer's instructions.
Additional duties include cleaning and maintaining painting equipment and tools and recording data on cleaning and coating verification forms.
In this position, quality control hold points will be adhered to.
The Painter will adhere to all safety rules and use appropriate personal protective equipment for the work.
The Painter will take initiative to correct conditions that need attention and request Supervisor approval when necessary to take action beyond previously authorized or directed work.
Whenever time permits, the employee will be available and willing to help other teams complete production assignments.
All other duties as assigned.
This is a posable swing shift position.
Requirements Previous painting experience required.
Ability to read and understand product labels and follow directions for paints, solvents and other related products Ability to reach, bend, crawl, stoop and lift up to 25 lbs.
with no restrictions (see physical requirements below) Ability to paint in accordance with procedures and instructions Ability to be fitted for and use a respirator when required Ability to be self-directed, requiring little or no supervision Ability to work well with others and participate as a team member when appropriate Job Type:
